Black Eyed Peas "The E.N.D." Music Review

I am very happy with the new Black Eyed Peas album. I think it steps up the game from their previous records. It is definitely an all-out in your face pop album. Great beats, good lyrics (in my opinion) and Fergi-Ferg in great shape (and I'm not talking about her voice only...). What more could you want for a summer playlist?
The lyrics are nice in my opinion. While some songs do have not so good lyrics others have great ones like "One Tribe", "Boom Boom Pow", "I Gotta Felling", and a few more of their songs.

Globally the album has a really catchy beat overall and is a great summer party album. In no doubt, none of these songs are going to be remembered in a couple years, but it is fun right now, and I love it. I'm still deciding whether I like auto-tune or not... I don't think it quite works, considering Black Eyed Peas should focus on better rap in their songs.

The album begins sublimely with "Boom Boom Pow" and "Rock That Body". These two songs are pure dance nirvana! The next songs are all excellent also, but around track 7 or 8 the music slowly gets a little worse.

will.i.am's production is fantastic and modern in a way; it is consistently state-of-the art and, at times incredibly moving. For example, on I Gotta Feeling, I can just imagine people all over the world dancing to the track at the same time. So, for commonly mindless but fun, and occasionally invigorating, dance music, at least half of this album will almost certainly meet your expectations.

A pretty good album, I like how they're experimenting with a more innovative sound, with "Boom Boom Pow" serving as a good intro song, the album continues with its futuristic sound for the most part of the album and ends with "Rockin To The Beat", a great album overall. The Deluxe edition has a bonus disc with 4 more new songs and 6 remixes, 2 remixes of "Elephunk" songs, and 2 of "Monkey Business", they also have a remix of "Joints and Jam" from "Behind the Front", and a remix of "Weekend" from "Bridging The Gap". I highly recommend the Deluxe Edition for any Black Eyed Peas fan or dance fan.

Just give it a try and be open for new influences and sounds. They deserve what they are doing on the charts at the moment, breaking a 50 year old record!! More than 20 weeks on the number one spot with "Boom Boom Pow" and "I Got A Feeling"! I just love the album.
